Can Anyone Help Me With Mafia Wars?

I have been playing Mafia Wars for almost about a week now. I play through Myspace. The first thing I want to know is why I didn’t have a choice to be a "Maniac", "Fearless", or "Mogul"? I was just automatically given "Maniac’. The next thing is that I was on the Street Thug levels and I have completed up to level 3 but it hasn’t given me level 4 to do. Also if there is any tips on how to get more money, or how to get it faster. I am kinda in a bind right now. I can’t really do anymore levels until I have 3 Tommyguns. ($120,000 each)

Well, first of all, for all jobs…there are only 3 levels. Once you have completed level 3….you are done with that job. You can move on, or continue coming back to that job for extra cash, whenever you feel like it.
Later in the game, you will notice that some jobs hand out special "loot" items that are required for future jobs. Ex. robbing an electronic store (enforcer section) will be used many times, even after you have completed it…you will still need to do it many times to get more concealable cameras, untraceable cell phones, etc. If you need to repeat jobs that you have already mastered, try completing ones that drop loot (with a gold elephant character next to them)….you will get experience, money, and items that will help build your character so you are stronger in fights! …Losing fights is like a waste of your time.

As for money, just keep collecting from your properties, keep buying properties, make sure that you are bringing in more money than your spending (later on in the game having some weapons and vehicles actually costs you money every few hours). Also, if you want, try fighting other mafias. Make sure all your money is in the bank first, and fight!..sometimes you can steal money that way. Fighting helps you earn experience so you can level up, and do more jobs, and make more $$!

As for the Maniac thing…more than likely a computer glitch, or you accidentally clicked it without realizing it…or maybe at a previous date a while ago, you had started mafia wars, chosen maniac, didn’t play it for a while, and upon coming back, u are stuck with that one…

    This doent really help, but i’m a trillionaire on that game, no lie! All I did was buy a ton of poperty, and wait bout a day, then i’d buy more property, and so on….. basically, the money added up BIG TIME!

    Don’t know why you were automatically chosen as a mania, i got to choose, but they may have chnged the game, i dunno. If you want to add me I’ll gladly accept, idont get on much though, my Username is StickManKing, a stickman waring a crown surrounded by fire is my pic.
